woooohooo... so im back from aussieland...

Melbourne was awesome! nice country, great weather, and that makes training sooo easy...
we train with our rp windbreakers and we're like some pro over there... haha

Let's start off with the flight there. My whole family came to see me off.. haha.. it was an 11 40 pm flight.. so yeah i had lots of entertainment on board, managed to watch all the harry potters again haha.. and yeah i fell asleep a lot of times as well.. couldnt help it, was tired.The flight was smooth, food was alright and yeah, basically everything was fine..

We arrived at Melb international airport at around 10 plus am and I got caught up a while there at the security check point coz there was a rock in my soccer boots.. what the hell.. haha! they're really strict about their you know..
So ok, we finally cleared immigration and Glen, our fac in charge who was already there before us, was already waiting and telling us about the programme for the day and stuff like that.. We then finally left the airport and was breathing the australian air.. wooohoo boy was it cold!! haha.. 16 degress.. !!

We made our way to the rusden house student apartment.. it was opposite Monash Uni actually..



we checked in and settled down... got mi room.. it was huge... but there was no tv and radio but there was a mini kitchen and two bedrooms and two toilets and mi room mate was karin.. so yah.. the whole hse to ourselves.. its like we moved in and got our own freedom.. hehe!

And then we left for chadstone, a shopping centre, to get our one week supply of food and drinks... mostly bought cup noodles and juices.. the whole rugby team had lunch there too..
Spent some time at the shopping centre and after which we had to be ready by 6 coz we had a game to go to and support out fellow athletes at badminton...

and guess what?!! we ended up watching malaysia vs england instead.. wth.. we missed the spore match! erhhh...!! ok so MALAYSIA BOLEH and GO ENGLAND was the cheer of the day!! haha...
I fell asleep while watching.. seriously the atmosphere was great but after a while i was like ok this is seriously getting nowhere and watching the shuttlecock flying in the air was not my cup of tea either... AND most importantly.. WE WERE SUPPOSE TO BE WATCHING SPORE PLAY!!
not some other country..

but still the spirit of commomwealth is among us and we were there for our neighbouring country.. close enough.. hahaha! we watched till it ended and then went back to the apartment and before i knew it i was off to dreamworld..
here's a fun fact, the australians are super duper friendly.. you know they would just come up to you and say "good day mate, where u from blah blah blah.. " hmmm..

Next day we went to watch table tennis...



again it was great!! i gotta tell you the atmosphere was awesome! Li Jia Wei was playing and we were like cheering them on.. she finally turned and waved at us.. at least she appreciates us and know we exist haha... and guess what the aussie cheer was..

so after that we had our free time to roam around melboune own our own..

i forgot the names of the places but to mention a few there was smith street, melbourne central, the crown casino..

oh yeah.. we had dinner with the Spore Sports Council at this pub/bar and yeah I couldnt stand the environment.. but the food was alright..
I saw joscelin yeo and some other familiar faces..
after dinner we headed back home coz it was very late at night and then the guys came over to my room.. chit chat a little...

We had a friendly match with the monash university touch rugby team.. we won the ladies and the mix game!! hooray.. they were really friendly and they taught us a few moves.. pretty cool actually... we also used their pitch for our trainings.. it was carpet grass so u can imagine how nice it was to train on such a pitch.. training was fun coz of the cool breeze and i didnt sweat much..
After the match we had barbecue and mingled around with the students and then we met up with singaporean students studying at monash.They invited us for pizza and beer minus the beer of coz.. Monash is really a great place to study in.. something to consider of coz.. hehe...

We went back to the apartments and yeah i hung out with the guys and watched a little bit of tv at the common room... The next day was free and easy which means SHOPPING TIME!!

There was this adidas and nike factory outlet at smith street..
We had the entire saturday free, so i was out with Has, aaron, K, Daniel, darling taufiq,Jonathan and Karin. wahh, realli spent alot that day...and it was like trainning cos we walked untill my legs totalli hurt after everything we started at 8 30am? and end up at 8 15pm back at the apartment...goodness...10 over hours...

We met some crazy people that day...some drunk guy and crazy woman that talks to dolls in a squeaky voice, and he had to sneeze behind taufiq.. haha u poor guy..And some drunk guy asking for a bottle of wine...well, thats just the darker side of Australia..

But i guess..i should be at least happy that i got home safe and all ...

The plane ride back was not that smooth coz there were turbulence and all.. but the food was great as usual.. entertainment was excellent.. the company i had was amazing.. hehe..
most importantly, im back home safe and sound...

CANT WAIT FOR THE CLASS CHALET...!! im soooo dead right...
